Wonderful A truly wonderful book that had me in tears on more-than-one occassion (including on a crowded rush hour train out of London Bridge station one evening). it may not be 100% believable - but who cares. It's well written and should appeal to young and old. I love it.
I loved this book! This book was one of the best books i have ever read! I had to read it for a book report in my 8th grade english class. Some nights i was up past midnight reading this book. A Must Read Do you know what? I was absolutley speechless after I read this book. All I could do was think about it. It is a beutiful story and is wonderfully written, and I recommend it to everyone
Goodnight Mister Tom I absolutely loathe this book. There is no way that a sickly boy from London could so quickly have been enveloped in the warm arms of the eccentric, but kindly, country life, as it is here portrayed. Everybody loves dear little Will, even though he has the personality of a wet mop. And when he suddenly becomes like his friend Zach? Is a bouncy personality lurking beneath every subdubed character, which only needs something to bring it out? yeah. right.
