My niece and I swear by this book - I highly recommend it!
A Major Confidence Boost Before I read this book I was feeling plain ugly. I hated my hair (which is 'ginger'), I hated my face... I hated everything about my self. Then one day I saw this book. I flicked through it and loved it. My mum bought it for me and that night I read the whole thing. In the moring I felt great. Now i follow all her tips and ideas. I would fully reccomend this book to any teenager who needs a self confidence boost. As Bobbie says: 'Be exactly who you are, super modles are freaks of nature'. TOO RIGHT! :D
A Beauty Bible for Every Teenage Girl this book has really helped me with my makeup and general beauty skills. there is a whole chapter on zits and how to cover them up which i found really helpfull. this book answered all my questions and i have learnt lots of usefull tips such as how to make your own body scrub and the easiest way to get really soft skin all over. i would recommend this book to any teenage girl.
Okay for young teens I thought this book would be better than it was. Its an american book and although it uses american slang words it easy to understand, it does however refer to american cosmetics which aren't available in the uk. It has useful character building chapters to improve your confidence which are useful and well written. The make-up application tips are quite basic and if you are already using make-up you will know most of it already. A good book for pre-teens and young teens who are just starting to use... more info
