Good book Just like the other two books by Martin Lewis, it has great ideas for saving cash. Buy it and you wont be disappointed.
FANTASTIC little book with loads of good tips. This book has loads of little tips for getting round things in everyday living. Its Chaptered with Bills, Cleaning, DIY, presents & Gifts and even a very good chapter on Xmas! There are loads of good tips on reducing bills, cleaning and stains etc. There's one tip which me and my family and friends love - Dishwasher Tablets - break them in half and use only half of it in the dishwasher. jaycee i must admit this book didt work for me.but its probably because im such a thrifty person any way,there was nothing to learn.i almost wanted to add a few of my own tips,if your young and starting out or in debt then its the book for you.
Useful for the retired etc I found this book had helpful tips for saving money in an old fashioned way however a lot of them ie baking your own bread etc are very time consuming. I was slightly dissapointed with the book as i felt it would incorporate more modern fresh thinking ideas however i would still recommend the book and feel that if you have the time you can make substantial savings
