best children's dictionary Unlike many others, this enables top juniors & younger secondary pupils to look up words easily and find definitions and examples which they can understand. Clear, helpful lay-out. As a teacher and parent I recommend it highly.
sadly lacking from Suffolk UK Again, like the thesaurus, sadly bereft of the colour of English language. Vast chunks omitted for specious reasons. What a pity that to include the word School in the book's title, thereby attracting a hungry corner of the market, should serve to seemingly justify an over-zealous censor. Eleven pluses (the target audience) are not fooled!
