Very interesting I am a huge fan of all the history and recreation books and have read them all! This was very interesting in capturing a snapshot in time and all the history elements that went with it made it very enjoyable. Having said that, it was not as insightful or interesting as some of the other books such as 1900 house etc but still very good. A lovely book to eat with chocolates one afternoon!
Brilliant and Informative. This book not only goes behind the scenes of the upcoming TV show on Channel 4 but also provides a detailed and accurate account of the time in which the TV show is set, the Regency Period. Packed with interesting photo's and drawings both of reality and the show the book is a must for any historian or fan of this type of show.
