Unfogotten? Not her best, but not her worst. Yes the story does trundle along, but I spent much of my time wondering where it would go. In the end, the ending seems to come from an unexpected, and unexplored quarter. Before this, we have the story of Tom and I am not sure how this relates to the main story, or is it the main story? Something I'm still not sure of. Un-put-downable, not really.
Back on form. At last Clare Francis seems to be back on form. I found her last two or three novels rather lacklustre. In this the characters are believable and have some depth to them and the plot jogs along nicely. There are a few twists and turns so it is not too obvious " who done it".
