Excellent A must as an introduction if your about to start you PGDE.
The language is accessible, and information relevent and informative.
A must have for all prospective teachers This book is an amazing insight into the world of teaching! As a graduate about to begin her pgce in september, this proved to be most helpful in highlighting all different aspects of teaching as a career. It looks at a variety of topics such as teaching and the law, lesson observation, assessment and how to handle the kids. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I start teacher training in Sep, I bought this book in order to give me a good foundation to start the course with. It has been a highly insightful read, and I am convinced the information in it helped me through my interview.
The book is clearly written with many ideas which I am sure I will take with me into the classroom.
