Fantastic Story Audrey Howard is so very clever. She grabbed my attention from the very first page.
I adored this book, which is full of hardship, love and sacrifice. The characters are well rounded. I laughed and cried along with Annie Abbott as her life twists and turns. Beautiful writing, beautiful story.
Don't miss this one.
Exceptional story to read Audrey Howard has outdone herself with this book. It has all you need for a good story-love, rejection and heartache. You certainly become one with the characters and after reading each page you just don't want this story to end. The main character Annie is more than just a heroine, she is a woman trying to make a life for herself and her daughter in a time where women were treated as nobodies. Her courage in this book made me cry more than once and her passion made you wish it was you.
