An absolute gem Fantastically constructed, with folds, sliding sections and pop-ups that have stood 6 years of regular use with no damage. Genius rhyming with plenty of little responses for children to recite (in various funny voices) so that reading it becomes a real shared experience, and the tiny torch light at the end of the book is a total treat for little ones who cannot wait to lift the final flap! This is one of the books I'm more than pleased to read when it's requested at bedtime.
Not just for young children I bought this book for myself nine years ago, but it was purloined by my daughter who proclaims that it's her favourite book. My daughter is twenty seven years old! She can't wait to have children of her own so that she can share it with them.
Kippers Bear This is my sons favorite book, it always makes him laugh and the pop ups are fun. All children would love this as the story is just so lovely and you can interact more with your child using the pop ups and lifting the flaps in the book to see what is hidden in the places Kipper goes during his search, makes god bedtime story, definately recommend.
Where Oh Where Is Kippers Bear - Mick Inkpen An absolute masterpiece! We're on our second edition as the first was truly worn out. Simple rhyming text tells the story of Kippers quest to find his teddy bear and the characters he encounters on the way. Pop up iluustrations make this book interactive and appealing to even very young children. My youngest is 11mths and absolutey adores it. At the end of the story the bear can be found, under the covers of Kippers bed, reading a book with a working torch.
