Mmmm This book, like Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, deals among other things with an attempt to reconcile a scientific (objective) outlook with an intuitive (subjective) outlook. The motivating factor is that those two 'camps' of humanity are frequently separated (in discussion at the very least) into two seemingly opposing viewpoints - both books seek to illustrate that this need not be so.
