Well done Mr Delaney you have me in your grip I have just finished this latest instalment of The Wardstone Chronicles, and I like some others rate this as the best so far, even though I did kind of guess what was going to happen/be explained, and let me admit I don't feel at all guilty about reading 'kids' books - and I'm 36, (might feel abit guilty about ignoring the family while reading though).

best so far! brilliant. best of the series so far as it really develpos different sides to the characters and, as always, brings in new members of "the dark". Although i read this book in two nights (due to being used to robert jordan sized books) i really enjoyed it. I'm just anoyed i have to wait for the next of the series!
Forget Harry Potter I love Harry Potter hes wonderful. My son the bookworm having read all Harrys books was looking for his next fix when I came upon the Wardstone Chronicles. I took the first two books home for him. I waited, not for long though he read them so fast I was going out the door for the next two before I had chance to take my coat off. Already waiting for the next Spook book Never fails to amaze me how good this series is. Every book so far has had me wanting to read it in one go.
This will appeal to all age groups and I could not praise it enough. I like the fact that the books are a good size (always leaving you wanting more) and have stuck on a good price and not become too expensive.
Meet the authour recently and he hopes to be doing about 8 or 9 books overall. Cant wait. And will be interesting to see what the film will be like.
