Relentlessly depressing - for the 4th time out in Morganville I like this series - if not I wouldn't be on book 4 of it - but they are such a downer. At the end of each you feel that surely things can't get worse - but they always can. I stick with them because I like some of the characters and I am always hoping, Pollyanna-style, that something good will happen.
