Abnormal Psychology This was the recommended text for my mental health module and I didn't hold out high hopes given the quality of past recommended texts, but I was pleasantly surprised. It goes into depth, but it's easy to understand, even the biological aspects of mental health issues that usually give me a headache. There are lots of examples of case studies relating to the topic being discussed. There are also focus boxes which contain interesting articles.
