Great source of info on Server 2003 As a freelance tech author who often has to produce IT admin guides etc. (with the help of subject matter experts!) I've found this book to be a great intro to MS Windows Server 2003.
Would definitely buy similar stuff from the same author. Can't say fairer than that.
Windwos Server 2K3 Interesting, i think this book is precise and to the point however its not the only book you want to own buy another one to go with it that will help you alot more for home study. On the whole it answered alot of immediate questions that made me further my research on this OS.
Windows Server 2003 Administrator's Pocket Consultant I've used Stanek's Windows 2000 Administrator's Pocket Consultant for just twelve months before we upgraded to 2003 where i work.. I got his Windows 2003 Server book when it came out. It covers everything you need for those day to day tasks on yuor server. It answers many questions and explains a lot of things like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
I have found this book to be a source of invaluable help for studying for possible Micrsoft Qualifications. I'd definitely recommend this book.

I got his Windows 2003 Server book as soon as it came out. It is the best book about Windows I've read by far! It covers everything you need for managing day to day. It answers many questions and explains the concepts of things like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS. At times I felt I had an expert standing beside me. It explains otherwise difficult topics clearly and understandably.
