IMHO, this really isn't for admins Contrary to most of the reviews here this book is NOT for administrators. If you need to administer a product you need a "how to" guide - you think to yourself, "I need to do . I'll look it up in the manual". What happens with this book is you find a description of what the product can do not how to accomplish the task. Just for admins This book's title is 100% correct. It's the right book for admins, but it doesn't cover the other areas of MOSS like using it and programming. This shouldn't be your first book to learn MOSS if you have no experience from the previous version. But it's THE manual for every MOSS admin.
Well worth buying I am looking at implementing Sharepoint; with no previous experience, I needed something that would help me understand the product, and show me the way to install and manage it as an administrator. This book does exactly that! It is broken down into logical sections that make it easy to dip in and out as required.
