Not what I was expecting I finally managed to pick up and read one of Jackie Collins' books. After reading many chick-lit novels and being constantly reminded that Jackie is one of the best authors, I decided to given in and read this book. I didn't expect this book to be as over the top and as far fetched as it was. It was, for me, far to unrealistic, to the point where I was going to stop reading it. Brilliant! I really loved this book. It took only a couple of evenings to read, I was so hooked! I have read a few of JCs other books and I think this is one of the best so far. I love the way Jackie Collins gives you a bit of each character then going on to the next one, making you read on in earnest trying to find out what happened to so and so the whole way through. This book is quite fast paced and really easy to get into. Definately recomend!
Entertaining Read? Having read many Collins books i felt a little let down by this one. I found the book very abrupt in its ending and a little to far fetched even for Ms. Collins, but if you're looking for Glamour, Sex and fast living its all here. Worth taking the chance on this one just to decide for yourself.
JACKIE COLLINS AT HER BEST If you like Jackie collins you will love this book. It has everything sex, glamour, suspense, scandal and a hero who you have already met(and whos description makes you wish you could meet him in real life). The book had me hooked from the beginning and yes i agree with some of the other reviews that you do guess the end but thats typical Jackie collins.
