fantastic book! Anyone who has children should read this book! It explains how you can help your children express their feelings verbally instead of physically and how you can encourage problem solving instead of conflict. The book is easy to read and incudes lots of examples of how each 'technique' can be applied in everyday situations. The summary pages at the end of each section provide useful reminders of the main points. It works too! My son really responds to the methods this book describes. I have recommended this... more info
brilliant and practical My boy is 6 years old. This book has helped me to improve his self esteem, helped me to help him to manage his feelings and build his confidence. With practical advice and examples this book gives clear guidance on how to get your child to talk openly and comfortably about everything. It has helped me remain calm, consistent and content in my parenting approach. Simply wonderful. I am forever grateful that i took a chance and bought it!I have a more content, more confident, less self critical and happier... more info
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING This book has simply transformed our lives. Don't bother with the homework and working your way through the examples unless you feel you need to. The message is really simple and the techniques easy to learn. My previously normal but strong-minded and stroppy-on-occasion son is still strong minded and stroppy but now I can get him to do what needs to be done without a row, we don't end up screaming at each other, I am far less stressed, we have loads more fun and he has started displaying lots more... more info

Trying the new methods, yet in the back of mind doubting them, I kept reverting back to the usual... more info
