  I just finished Jinnie and couldn't be more pleased. I ordered it on a whim and have discovered a new author. This book moves fast and offers two main story lines. I felt that it depicted life in the early 60's very effectively. The main character, Louise, is both endearing and frustrating. If you want a "feel good" romance, read Jinnie.

• Is this really Josephine Cox??
  I was really looking forward to reading this book, I eagerly await her new novels as I find her to be such a proficient, powerful writer. However, I was really disapointed in her new book "Jinnie". The story started off promising but did`nt quite get up to Jo`s usual high standard - there was too much emphasis on creating a "feel good" factor which just does`nt suit her writing style.
