A definite page-turner I have read the previous works of this author and was mildly disappointed to find that this was not a continuation, but a prequel to the current Fenwick series. Despite this, the plot was excellent and the pace thrilling. This is another must-read from Corley.
Ohhh how I LOVE this author!! Corley has delivered four excellent titles to date, 'Grave Doubts', 'Requiem Mass', 'Fatal Legacy', and 'Innocent Blood'. All of which have kept me glued to my seat to finish them because it was just sheer torture to put them down, and think what would be happening next. Fatal Legacy is about corruption and murder, within a large well known family run buisness. Fenwick is on the case again, which he was given to 'clear up quickly' until he finds more than he bargained for. Fenwick will find that... more info
Gripping, easy to read suspense mystery An excellent book, full of twists and turns. Characters are very well explained and all scenes are easy to imagine as Elizabeth Corley has written this book exceptionally well. Very well worth reading!
Meaty second plot for DCI Fenwick to tackle Second installment in Elizabeth Corley's development of her answer to Adam Dalgliesh. DCI Fenwick tackles a psychotic villainess. Murders coming out of your ears! Great read for the summer holidays.
