    Great book I am new to Stuart Pawson and I will recommend this books -- I will now be reading all his Detective Inspector Charlie Priest books.

    A great start to a very enjoyable set of DI Charlie Priest novels. Plausable story lines with nice "one liners" that make you smile and occasionally laugh out loud. Highly recommend these books to anyone looking for a good read.

    I have read several of Mr Pawson's books in the past 'Chill Factor', 'The Limestone Cowboy' and 'Laughing Boy' all following the exploits of Inspector Charlie Priest and whilst i have enjoyed them all, i found a couple of weaknesses with this one. For one thing i did not think the plot was particularly well-developed. Several strands appeared and disappear with little development and the ending i found a trifle abrupt and a bit contrived.
