Rubbish and Dissapointing... I started reading this book, and thought to myself, "I've always wanted to know how to hypnotize". But sadly I am mistaken. You might aswell buy paint, and watch it dry. This book is boring. I opened it, and the pages fell out. I was extremely dissapointed, because none of it worked. It says, "Learn to hypnotize in 59 minutes or less!". There must have been a typo, because it is more like, "Learn to hypnotize in more than 59 years!", and even then, you will still need another book, because this book will... more info
Fun book for aspiring stage hypnotists This book is fun and easy to read. It has a wide selection of suggestibility tests, inductions and routines for stage hypnosis. It does not deal with therapeutic aspects of hypnosis. Even if you're not interested in stage hypnosis, you can still benefit from learning suggestibility tests and inductions. The content is well structured and straightforward, and is consistent with what I have previously read on the subject. It's an easy read with plenty of scripts and not too heavy going on the theory. But don't expect the humour of a Derren Brown book! However, the book is let down by very poor editing/proof-reading. The book is self-published I believe and as a self-publisher myself I do understand the difficulties, but it wouldn't be an... more info
