PHENOMINAL THIS COOKBOOK IS FANTASTIC AS IS INA GARTEN., THE RECIPES AND METHODS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW., PLEASE TRY THE COEUR A LA CREME' RECIPE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION, IT IS FABULOUS AND CAUSED QUITE A SENSATION WHEN I MADE IT FOR SOME CLOSE FRIENDS., I HAVE FOUND THAT OVERALL THE INGREDIENTS INA USES CAN BE PURCHASED AND CERTAINLY SUBSTITUTED WITH BRITISH INGREDIENTS, PERHAPS SOMETIMES WITH A LITTLE TRIAL AND ERROR BUT THAT'S THE PLEASURE OF COOKING, BUT, ALWAYS SUCCESSFUL. I AM NOW AWAITING DELIVERY THE LAST BOOK IN... more info
Worth buying This is a gorgeous book with fabulous photography and nice shiny paper easy to wipe clean any spills.I like Contessa's style although the calorie count of any one recipie must be in the thousands!!If I had one gripe a little index of american ingredients would be helpful..ie kosher salt?corn syrup?cold criso?and the recipie for rum baba uses 1 package of dry yeast, what size is a package in america.overall tho its worth buying,Im going to buy another of her books.
An absolute must Ina Garten is an absolute star. I have all her cook books now and never use any others. Straight forward, honest REAL food. You will not be disappointed!
