A favourite in our house I can't help but write a review for this book even though we don't read it anymore. It is a very treasured book which my children absolutely loved - a real favourite. It is charming, sweet and fun. It tackles problems of pregnancy on every page in a calm, lilting poem which is perfectly suited to very young children. Wonderful book I bought this wonderful book for my 20 month old daughter and myself to read as I went through various stages of pregnancy. We both fell in love with it and by the time her baby brother was born she could quote alot of the little rhymes in it. My Son is now 4 months old but we still enjoy reading this lovely book.
Obviously written by a man. A terrible book with stunning one-liners such as 'there's a house inside my mummy but the door is rather tight!' Explain that to a curious 3 year old. Presumably published because he's the man behind Purple Ronnie. If you really need it I would suggest borrowing from the library to save the world from more printed copies.
A great book for siblings/siblings to be I received this book as a gift for my 18 month old as I'm expecting again. I already have a 6 and 5 year old who are pretty clued up on pregnancy and childbirth. I've never purchased a 'mummy's having a baby' type book in the past, just didn't feel the need but this book is a big hit for all 3 of my children and I'd highly recommend it.
