Insincere, superficial It must be said, there is nothing incorrect about the advice he provides. The book itself is certainly worthy of the coffee table. I get the impression that the author has not experienced anything in life that might remotely induce him to want to reinvent himself. So nothing rings true. There is no passion behind the words. The anecdotes and 'real-life stories' used feel like they have been fiddled with in order to illustrate a principle - and they do it badly, anything he mentions from personal experience... more info
A diamond in its genre. Essential reading When my girlfriend recommended I read Reinvent Yourself I was a little sceptical. By the end of the introduction I was utterly engrossed.
To say a book changed my life is a massive statement. However that is exactly what Reinvent Yourself is about.
