5 stars but a big 'BUT' I am a fan of Pat Chapman and have most of his books, and I can assure you his recipies produce curries that will beat most standard restaurant curries. The authentic curries he includes in his books are again very good.
Although this is a new book containing mainly the dishes you might find wandering through India, the big BUT is that I have found a number of recipies are from previous books maybe 20% or more.
