Read it and then take ACTION! If you read this book with an open mind and actually take action and DO some of the things it suggests... you cannot fail to see the difference in your life. A good introduction to the law of attraction This is basically the movie transcribed. The intro is annoying as they babble on about 'The Secret' for far too long before getting to what it actually is.
Once it gets going it covers the topic well, but is a bitty as it jumps from contributor to contributor.
For me this was my introduction to Esther Hicks, who after reading her books changed my life. So i do owe The Secret a debt of gratitude as it opened my eyes, and showed me the way, even if it didn't change my life on it's own. But do... more info
Only positive things to gain here.... I would reccommend people read this book, there is only positive things to gain from it. If you have read other books on the subject then it's likely you have read this and if this is your first it's a good place to start! The book has proved to provide 'the secret' for rhonda byrne, those featured in it and there is absolutely no reason why you cant join them in the success you desire too.
Dangerous This books claims that if you truly believe then the universe will provide everything you need. It is based on some pseudo theory that positive thoughts create a kind of positive feedback that will benefit everyone. That's basically the message but the book repeats it over and over in a hundred different ways.
I think the book is dangerous and I wonder how many people who bought it went on to over-commit themselves financially in the belief that the universe would provide...
