  Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the most atmospheric of the books, and so it's the story which transfers best onto cassette. The creepy whisperings of the monster of Slytherin are quite effective but not overdone. It's ideal for listening to in a darkened room. It's a little bit spooky, but only if you let it be. It's not terrifying, and it's not going to scare the kiddies, but with a little imagination from the listener it captures the atmosphere of cold, lonely castle, haunted by an unseen... more info
