Really disappointing I bought these to replace the earphones i got with my mobile phone which didn't fit my ears. The comfortable fit on these Koss ones is the only good thing about them. I'm amazed by some of the other reviews here. I'm no audiophile and was only looking for a reasonably competent earplug, but the sound is absolutely terrible. Absolutely zero bass comes through and they sound very tinny. The only comparison I could make is with the gameboy headphones I had when I was 10 years old!! I've only been moved to post... more info
Good in all but Durability I don't know what it is about headphones, but personally I've struggled to get a pair that lasts over 6 months... These were no exception by any means. They'd broken within a month, and the 'lifetime guarantee' Koss offers is only applicable in the US and Canada. The headphones themselves were excellent, they blocked more outside sound than any other pair i'd ever owned, they were comfortable amd the sound quality was excellent. What A nice surprise! After wasting time and money trying out other budget ear phones that all received rave reviews on Amazon only to turn out to be total garbage, [are you all deaf??], I was beginning to wish I had bought a decent set to begin with and not thrown good money after bad, when I saw these. A design that surely couldnt fail to fit even the wierdest of lug holes, a nice clear sound and a decent amount of bass was my reward. Excellent in-ear units, but the cable is annoying Had two pairs of these now and the sound quality is excellent. They're great for on the train as you can listen at a quite loud volume yet remain inaudible to others (a pet hate of mine is people with cheap phones that you can hear from 30 feet away, argh thats inconsiderate). These earbuds solve that problem. The one downside is the cable: this is rubberised and tends to stick to itself and to other stuff, so much so that it caused me to jerk the first pair out of my ears and wreck them.
