Diamond Music Like most albums the title track and some others are superb. Trouble is a lot of the tracks use a similar if not idntical musical theme, so it can be difficult to know which track you are listening to.
Sexy Neo - Baroque I love the way Karl Jenkins has caught those elements of the Baroque that people so admire - the throbbing rhythms, the bow -on - gut abrasiveness, the spare and rich textures, the minor - key chic, the restraint and the exuberance.
It is one hell of a sexy piece of music.
A brilliant avant-garde piece. For anyone who enjoys upbeat and technically demanding classical music. As the title mentions, this is diamond music, as used in the DeBeers diamond commercials. Much in the style of Bartok, only Sony music seems to have been able to actually capture the excitment and vitality on compact disk, whereas recordings of Bartok do not do justice to his music.
