GREAT LOVE SONGS FROM WALES I would recommend this CD to everyone who's welsh, once you listen to it you'll know what i mean, especially Ar Lan Y Mor and Myfanwy.Every time I listen to it I think of home,of the beach and of the beautiful countryside.ADD IT TO YOUR COLLECTION.
Superb This is an incredible album. If you have a soul and enjoy the human voice, especially Welsh music (I am English by the way) this album is guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes. Some tracks are not so stirring as others but it is an absolutely wonderful album. Turn the volume up, pour a drink and get the tissues out.
A great way to engender "Hiraeth" A well produced, nostalgic yet modern and up-beat album of Welsh and other songs to commemorate the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Although I readily support "Cymru am byth", I did not like "Wales Forever" sung by Michael Ball. Putting modern words to the traditional "Cwm Rhondda" hymn is bad enough, but Michael's transatlantic style of singing grated terribly. Y Ddraig Goch Ddyry Cychwyn
