Tiffen UV Filter I bought this for my Nikon D40 (excellent value from Amazon) but decided it was a false economy. There is little point in buying a quality SLR and then putting an uncoated filter on the supplied kit lens, in low light this filter produces reflected images of any highlight in shot, in some circumstances it will do the same in daylight. A must have to protect your lens I bought this to prevent scratches etc to my lens. For just a little money, your lens surface is protected.
This filter also prevents haze and UV rays.
Supplied in a handy protective plastic box. Made by Tiffen, who is a very well established camera firm.
