The Music shines Brighter than Aidan Quinns eyes I've seen this film many times and never tire of it. Its the music that makes this film.
Having lived in the area recently, I found it just as frightening to be a lesbian as in the film a hundred years ago. In fact, wearing trousers was frowned on in many quarters. I was very disappointed that the CD doesn't have the same music as in the film.Probably a rights problem.
All the same if you like the music go to any Bluegrass gospel music station on line to hear more.
