Cheap tat Well, it works ok for the first couple of uses (I use it in my car). But after that the slightest movement of the cable results in it producing a mass of white noise from the left speaker, yet still plays in the right one. Whatever you do, do not buy this cable!! - head to ebay, there are cheap retractable ones available - far more reliable.
Poor sound quality The cable fits nicely into the top of my iPod, however, the sound quality is very poor indeed. Once I've connected the iPod to my stereo the slightest movement of the cable results in interference and all I hear is fuzzy, white noise. Even when the cable is completely stationary the volume is not constant - every so often the volume will drop, or the sound will switch from stereo to mono. I would not recommend this product to anyone else, spend a little more money and buy a high quality product.
Chief! I've got a lead! Very good. The 3.5mm stereo jack is just the right size for the headphone socket, and the wires inside the beautiful, semi-matt black plastic insulation, conduct electricity at exactly the right speed for note perfect audio playback. I was initially worried that both a left and a right phono connector might be a tiny bit over-the-top, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that there were indeed sufficient sockets for them to connect to at the back of the stereo and nothing had to be left dangling... more info
