A chillout compilation with a difference Basically, this album does what it says on the tin; it's a collection of short classical pieces that are soothing on the ear. So far, so common. But what I enjoyed particularly about this album was the eclectic nature of some of the pieces, particularly the inclusion of Izzy's "Going Home" and Batt's "Love in Slow Motion".
Both CDs offer a good mix of the old and well loved (e.g. Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze"), and newer, and perhaps less familiar pieces. And I can't be the only Harry Potter fan pleased... more info
great collection of music I bought this CD because I had enjoyed Classical Chillout (1). This one is even better. Spent an enjoyable evening recently with a group of friends trying to guess where we had heard the tunes before as most are linked to films or adverts etc. If you want some interesting but relaxing music I would recomend this album. It is very good value too as it is a double album with lots of tracks.
A wonderful mix of film scores and timeless classics This is the definitive relaxation CD - perfect for Sunday driving or unwinding in the evening. There is a great mix of well known and less well known composers and muscians, and most tracks you'll recognise. That said you'll probably not remember where you heard them, but a quick look at the album listing and the scene from the film will come back to life.
