The missing link in the Russell T Davies canon... Russell T Davies, currently at the height of his powers as head writer and producer of Doctor Who, is enjoying wide-spread acclaim of late. This series doesn't seem to have become the massive success that his Queer as Folk, The Second Coming or even Dark Season attained however. Television heaven This series is one of the best I have ever seen on televison. Lesley Sharp is beautiful and brilliant. Alan Davies is gorgeous and wonderful. Watch it, and you'll laugh, smile, cry, dream and wonder..........
Brilliant I can't rate this highly enough. I loved the show when it was on TV and still regularly watch the DVD. Bob and Rose tells the story of a gay man and a stright woman who fall in love. However, they have to overcome their own problems, the prejudices and actions of their friends, and the feelings of their parents. Bob and Rose This is one of the best TV shows i've ever seen in my life. The story of a gay man who falls in love with a straight woman is made better here by the utilisation of such actors as Alan Davies and Leslie Sharp. The two work together so well it's completely believable that they are a couple. The story charts the problems in their relationship as they struggle to make it together, and inevitably ends with some drama and suspense. Definitely one to watch, anything with Alan Davies rocks
