• Catweazle it ain't
  An amusing film which will no doubt entertain the family for a few hours, after which it's quickly forgotten about. If you think you might have heard this storyline before, look no further than the delightful, and infinitely better, 70's children's tv series, "Catweazle." • Dull
  The concept is great - the original Frnch film pretty good - this is dull & uninsipred.

  Beyond a toilet bowl & expensive perfume - ignores any comparisson between today and the middle ages.

• excellent
  Very good and very very funny! The whole family enjoyed it and the favourite scene was when the french noble and his servant first encounted the toilet! Jean Reno was excellent and it is definitely worth watching.

• A Kids Film But Great For Adults Too
  One of the most enjoyable childrens films I have seen. In fact the kids spent more time laughing at me and the wife cracking up at the film than they did at the film itself!

  A simple storyline but a good one, Reno's expressions are superb, lots of zany action.

  Thoroughly recommended.
