Not for Adults......... I thought this film was (no other word for it) crap.......
My other half didn't even bother to watch the end....i only watched it as i have an annoying habit of having to see things through to the end whilst praying the end is going to be amazing and make up for the other hour of rubbish - it didn't!
having said that..if i was still 15 i might have identified more with it and subsequently enjoyed it....

Mixed feelings I can see why other reviewers reacted as they did, I found I had a kind of love/hate thing about it. Piper Perabo was very watchable, a treat for me as I rather enjoyed her Coyote Ugly bar room performance, but the others were a bit limp. There was a deal of resonance in the adolescent emotions, but I found the over-reaction to being spurned a little too embarrassing - possibly because it's not unusal to have those kind of reactions at that age but we don't always like to be reminded of them! Terrible If you are an adult lesbian you are unlikely to get much out of this film. If you're a teenage/young lesbian, there are MUCH better coming of age lesbian films than this, try: All Over Me, But I'm a Cheerleader, Better Than Chocolate. There is nothing truely lesbian or moving about this film, it's a schoolgirl affair broken up before they become 'real' adults and get boyfriends, only one of them won't accept it and gets all melodramatic and then somehow turns into a bird at the end. dear oh dear, wish I... more info
