• Fun piece of nonsense
  This daft comic caper was written and directed by Wes Craven, but has little of the horror or gore usually associated with his movies. Instead the film concentrates on the comic book origins of the "Swamp Thing" character, and never takes itself too seriously. As a result of this, the movie is a hoot from begining to end, and makes for a fun (if very light) night's viewing. Don't expect to be scared, but laughs (intentional and unintentional) are a plenty, and fans of comic book horror will not be... more info
