Dismol.! There are alot of excellent french films, but this is far short of one of them. It is a dismol drama.! (Not remotely a comedy). A man looses his memory. His wife watches by while he has affairs with other women, saying nothing. Why.? Aparently because she doesn^t want him to know about his home, wife and young son. It is ludicrus and very boring. Definately not recomended.
A film of two distinct halves that shows the best and worst tendencies in French cinema It starts really good as it's explicit and charming (an odd combo). It's well paced and feels energetic. Not as clever as it wants to be This film left me a little cold and disappointed. It was know where near as funny, sexy or clever as it hoped to be, though the performances were very good. The leads sudden 'memory regain' came out of the blue conveniently, which made the film a little too Hollywood for me, (and it's not a Hollywood film). Not bad, just vaguely interesting. I certainly wouldn't buy it, just rent it if you really want to see it.
Novo A little vague, a little pretentious but a fun thought provoking film. The acting is splendid, the script ambitious, cinematography is fast paced, fresh, lively. Some interesting Japanese influences.
