Worthwhile buy I can happily say I have owned this adapter for who knows how long and it still survives and produces ok quality. There is little distortation of sound and it has proved itself to be a reliable little piece of kit. Mine is dumped into my bag daily where it is jostled around most of the day yet still works where many in the past have just refused to work again. It has outlived many sets of earphones. Recommend purchase.
Good enough I use mine in the car with a 6gb hard disc player and it has survived very well. Can't say I've ever noticed any mechanism noise, or for that matter any distortion.
At the price I reckon its good value and I'd happily buy another one if and when it stops working.
The main thing is that it enables me to have a 1000 tracks in the car, and not 100 cassettes.
Hardly lasts any time at all. The tape adapter I had before this one lasted for three years with no problem, I then got this and it seriously only lasted about three days. The build quality is poor and the wiring quickly became loose.
