Excellent product! I bought this on several people's recommendations, not just the reviews on here (although it is rare to find a product with almost exclusively 5* reviews, so I thought I was probably onto a winner). I plugged it into my Vista PC and it worked almost instantly with absolutely no fuss. I want it to record voice podcasts, and the quality is more than good enough for that. Perfect This USB microphone is easy to set up, and it works well! I've used it for MSN and Skype video calls and encountered no problems. It's far superior to the built in mic on the laptop I use it with. My only gripe: the packaging was a nightmare to get through!
It's survived my sitting on it!! Very very clear quality I use a big armchair, and this sits on the arm. Inevitably it falls into the seat and I forgets its there and sits on it. The boom is a little bent now. However I bought it when I thought I'd do audio tutorials as the crackling/hissing from a standard mike was doing my nut in. The quality is very very good. I was recording via Cool Edit Pro 2 and found what hiss there was very easy to filter out to produce a perfect voice. For the money this represents excellent value for money. Good for Skype as well.
Good value and great quality This is a sturdy, good quality microphone, especially for the price. Getting it working on Win XP worked first time. I did have to install a new driver but everything was auto-detected and straight forward. The sound quality is great and it's easy to use. I mainly use it with Skype and it picks up voices clearly, even from across the room.
