Make the most important meal of the day the most enjoyable with this stylish 2 slice 'Eon' toaster. This high quality brushed aluminium toaster has a special feature - the bread lowers and rises automatically so there's no need for a carriage lever! An audible signal lets you know when the cycle has finished. Another unique feature is the bun warming rack which can also be used as a separate toast rack that you can take to the table. There is a large detachable crumb tray making cleaning simple and an innovative cord length adjustment. As with all Kenwood toasters there is a safety auto stop and a cancel facility.

automatic madness! Like other reviewers, my TT900 also worked for about six months and then started going gradually mad - switching itself on to toast imaginary toast, this can continue for hours. This probably does pose a fire risk, as it will repeatedly toast the same piece of toast time and time again if you don't remove it when it pings the first time. Fortunately it has a 'pinger' so at least it wakes you up in the middle of the night to unplug it before the conflagration. Red Dot design award - agreed it is very... more info
Wish I'd bought an ugly £3.99 supermarket toaster instead.... Don't do it! It may look beautiful, but as for that tricky little business of toasting bread without burning your house down....well lets just say if you like walking into your kitchen in the moring, finding its cosy and warm because the toaster has continuely self activated while you slept....well it doesn't inspire confidence that this is a safe, market ready product. If you do buy it, it MUST be switched off after you use it for safety's sake. My friends laughed at me when I bought a Rowenta Jasper... more info
Makes toast, looks great, has a little pingy 'ready' bell It's the toaster they'd have used on the original star ship enterprise. It has blue lights. You put the bread it, and it senses this and gently lowers it in. When it's ready there's a satisfying little 'ping' from a proper little bell hidden in the case somewhere. The crumb tray and toast rack are pieces of simple genius. It's not perfect but I don't even care. I'm happy to trim down large slices which are too big in order to continue owning this beauty!
Beautiful but... unreliable. I returned the first one after only two weeks. It kept jamming and even on the highest setting, bread needed to be sent in 3 times before it toasted. The automatic bread detecting stopped working after a few uses. On the plus side, it turned itself on automatically even without any bread (in the middle of the night). The kitchen was nice and warm ready for breakfast.
The replacement toaster worked fine for a couple of weeks, but then developed the same faults. I couldn't be bothered to... more info
