Surprisingly good I am more discerning than most people when it comes to headphones, though I would not call myself a bona fide audiophile: my most advanced headphones being the Sennheiser HD280s, which I've also reviewed. Being a bit of a wired snob in that I don't generally trust wireless devices* to provide equal fidelity to wired ones, so I didn't expect much from the RS120s. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out with a Hilary Hahn CD. They are open, so they've got a fairly light, airy sound that some may... more info
Awfully disappointed Sennheiser - I regarded them as a good name for headphones based on my experience with them in the 70s - a bit dearer than the "chunkies", but, from personal useage, worth it..but alas...
Tuning and volume control wheels embedded in the earpieces feel, and are, poor and cheap, ditto saddened by the sound quality - if you can get it 'just right'!?! - sadly, I remained frustrated.

Easy to use ? Sure Having returned a new but faulty pair of Panasonic wireless headphones to Amazon, I thought I would try these Sennheisers. The styling is great: tha transmitter base is very smart, and the way that they recharge by just sitting across the metal bars is FAR better than the Panasonic solution, where you have to guide a connector into a plug. They are held on the rail by magnets. Sound quality is OK, but lacks a bit of top, so you might want the more expensive models for true hifi. I agree with comments about... more info
not bad margaret, not bad at all... I've had a pair of these for over 2 years now and I think, for the price, these are very good value for money. With the base unit set up downstairs I can wander around my 4 bedroom house, to the end of both gardens and even into the loft with hardly any loss of signal, only the occasional short hiss of white noise. Tuning seems fairly stable and not that fiddly, once you've found the strongest signal it takes a fair bit of moving the tuning wheel before the signal vanishes into white noise. Contrary to many... more info
