very useful item I have only owned this for a few weeks, but I already wonder how I ever managed without it. This mat prevents plates or bowls moving at all when it is placed underneath, which makes, for example, cutting something on a plate so much easier and safer. I also turn my wooden boards over on occasion and cut on the underside - once again, this item stops the board slipping. Washing is easy - in the dishwasher and it is also small enough to store easily in a drawer if you ever stop using it long enough... more info
Just amazing! From time to time you come accross a product that is well designed, very affordable and does 10 times more than it says on the tin. The multimat is easy to use, and easy to clean. I bought it to place hot pans on, but now fand myself using it all of the time. As has already been said it is excellent under chopping boards, but it is even better under pyrex to stop it slipping hen quickly whisking eggs etc. It is such a simple product, with so many uses. Recommended!
