Normal Dyer Effort.... 3 stars, lifted only because of the book and not because of this plywood acting efort.... Absolutely resounding good book, runied with the usual complete mahogany cameo from dyer, who is supposed to be the main lead role.
He does his best to deliver his nearly below average standard, which, on this occassion, suits the role rather than make it embarrasing, still though, It's embarrasing for Dyer who once more falls far short of being convincing, and also falls shorts of delivering what he is... more info
Good film for wannabes who've never thrown a punch in their life I know many people love this film and I won't knock this film on the
grounds that it's moronic because that's been done to tears and besides,
it's not the moronic, tedious characters that are the biggest flaw of this awful film. The worst thing about this film is that it has pretensions of being cutting, in yer face social commentary. What it is though,simply is Chelsea Headhunter propaganda with a plot about two ex-servicemen as a meaningless sideshow meant to give a load of Chelsea thug wet... more info
The way british films should be! A great british film. A look into the gritty reality of the wrking class football follower! Danny dyer plays a qulity role as do the supporting cast! For years we have been embarassed for our lack of decent films but this is a breath of fresh air! Awesome!!
decent britflick well made and well acted this is an enjoyable romp thats a bit rough around the edges.danny dyer is very good in the lead and marked himself as one to watch
