It's 12 Inches long not 12 feet. I bought this cable as it is sold by Amazon and was therefore eligible for free delivery with something else more expensive. Other cheaper cables all came from the Market Place so a delivery charge would be added.
It's just fine for what I want it for i.e connecting my MP3 player phone to the car stereo. However beware if you want it for the advertised 12 feet length, its only 12 inches long!
