Good quality at an affordable price. I wanted some headphones because I found the earbud type earphones uncomfortable when listening to my MP3 player. These headphones do an excellent job. I mainly use them with either of two devices, a Sony NWZ-A818 or an iPod Shuffle. The sound produced is very good, with a lot of bass. I did find that the volume needs to be boosted more than if listening through standard earphones, but then I don't like my music overly loud anyway. The lead is long, 3.5 metres. Excellent value At less than a tenner, these budget headphones are amazing value. I think they are extremely comfortable to wear, even for extended periods. The long lead is a bonus if you wander round the room a bit while listening! Sound quality is very good, particularly for pop/easy listening. I also tried them while I was playing a digital piano and they were excellent - the sound was spot on. They coped well with the spoken word on a DAB radio, albeit the sound downgraded a bit. Very uncomfortable Notice in the product image that there is no padding on the two thin plastic bands that goes across your head! This is what takes most of the weight of the head phones.
After an hour or two it gets really uncomfortable so that you constantly adjusting the headphones to relieve the pressure points. It comes to a point where I can cant wear them any more and have to switch to in-ear phones.
Shame really as the audio and build quality is excellent.
Excellent quality/price ratio I've came across these while looking for a nice headphones for music
listening. I was always concerned about too much bass most of the headphones
(even more expensive) produce but after reading the comments I've gave it a
try and I must say I'm 100% satisfied.
I use them only indoors so long cable is only an advantage for me. So if you're looking for a quite comfy headphones with nice balanced tones
and you don't want to spend too much I would recommend these.
