Useful accessory This notebook stand is very sturdy and has four lockable angles to suit all needs. I don't use this on a desk or table which I suppose is how most people will use it. I prefer to have my laptop on my lap on a beanbag tray while sitting in comfort with my feet up! This stand lifts the keyboard from the horizontal position so that I can type easily. Very good value.
Excellent stand for 15.4" laptop I bought this stand as my neck and shoulders had been getting a bit sore from a hunched up position using my laptop on a coffee table. Almost immediately I noticed an improved posture thanks to the stand and after a week I can feel a noticeable difference. Using my laptop is now much more comfortable. The stand is well built with rubber to ensure it does not slip on the coffee table. Also there is rubber where the stand touches my laptop so it will not cause scratches. Great budget stand I've written this review because some people seem to have had problems using this stand with larger laptops. I'm using it with a 17" Dell Inspiron and am delighted with it. It feels sturdy and I think it's great value.
NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGE LAPTOPS! The Kensington Easy Riser is a well built product,
the plastic feels sturdy enough and of good quality. BUT, and this is a huge But...
- it can be adjusted in only four positions
and the lower one is too high (I am 1.79m)
- it can obstruct the line/headphones out socket
if it is located on the front of your laptop
- it is NOT suitable for a 17 inch laptop! My HP DV9000 series laptop (17 inch) was too big
