Incompatible with newest IPods I recently upgraded my iPod to a Classic and the camera connector will not work with the Classic. It works really well on iPods up to and including iPod with Video - beware if you have or are thinking of getting a newer iPod
Does not work for me I bought this device to download photos from various cameras (Canon S3, Canon compact and Olympus DSLR) onto a recent colour-screen iPod. It does not work with any of them. The iPod recognises the device, but never recognises that a camera is attached. The instructions are very simple, but there is absolutely no help in resolving the fairly major problem that the device does not work - you just get a "card not inserted" error message, with no indications of how to fix it. Does not work with iPod Classic Does not work with iPod Classic. Apple staff at Regent Street store said it would. They don't sell any other type of camera adaptor. I feel cheated.
Doesn't work with new iPods This device doesn't work with my new iPod Classic or my new iPod Nano. I'm not sure why Apple wouldn't make their new iPods compatible with this. It never occurred to me to test it with my new iPod before going on holiday. Big mistake! It worked fine with my iPod Photo though.
