  My son wanted an easy way of playing his Ipod through his bedroom Hi fi system.Chose this as some people reported reduction in volume if taking the output from the headphone iPod socket.This lead looked simple and very cost effective.Child's play to connect to twin red and white AUX connections on Hi-fi then normal connection to Ipod .Result-Full volume and no loss of sound quality.Seemed as good as a CD on the Hi-fi or DAB radio quality.Highly recommended.I tried it with iPod Classic and 3rd generation... more info

• Doesn't work with the Ipod touch
  Quick delivery and neat little product, but disappointingly didn't work with my Ipod touch. Apart from that it was perfect!

• Best little gizmo ever.
  My ageing stereo stopped playing cds and I was looking at the possibility of replacing it. The thought struck me that if I could play my iPod through the stereo my problem would be solved with the added advantage of not having to change cds. This tiny gizmo is amazing. The sound quality is great.The price is negligible. It fits to the video connectors at the back of my stereo with no problems. I couldn't believe such a tiny piece of equipment could be so useful and effective. I'm impressed!

  I was a little sceptical at first when I came across this item, but for the price I felt I had little to lose by giving it a go. I have used a similar adaptor to connect my amplifier to my ipod via its headphone socket and was disappointed by the lack of volume. But this little beauty gives much better volume and clarity by connecting to the ipod's docking port. I'm an old fashioned sort with an old Arcam amp and Tannoy speakers, and this connector makes the ipod sound almost as good as the CDs themselves... more info
